Carpet progress

Here is the floor cleaned up and waiting for carpet.

I don't have pictures of the carpet installed yet, but they finished it the next day and it looks great. We're really pleased with how comfortable it is, and it looks great with all the paint colors.

Base trim

We (and by we I mean Mark and his dad :)) put base trim up around the house.

Mark whipped together a stand to make spraying it easier.

A much prettier front door

After getting beaten up for the last couple years the front door was looking a bit said. Mark took it down on Thursday and got it looking spiffy again. He also sealed it, but didn't get any pictures of it when he finished.

More overdue progress pics...

I haven't been able to get the pictures off the camera recently (can't find the usb cable in our room, and never think to look for cable or card reader when Calen isn't sleeping), but I did realize that I'm once again far behind in posting pictures. And once I started writing this I realized that I didn't have any recent photos on the computer. But this afternoon I snagged the card reader and pulled everything off.

First Year Photos

We took Calen out to take some 1st birthday pictures. I wasn't really feeling up for spending the money to take him to a studio, and Mark volunteered to fill in. So we saved some money, and ended up with pictures with way more personality. Enjoy!
