New hobby

I tried to take up crochet a couple years ago, with no success. Finally, thanks to YouTube, I was able to figure it out this spring, and have had the fun of making a few things for my niece. The first few pictures the pieces (or whole garment in the case of the sweater. It was crocheted in one piece) are getting blocked. It helps produce a more finished garment.

I bought some yarn to crochet a doll, but didn't realize how pale it was until I got it home. I was a little nervous, but decided to try tea dyeing. Much to my relief it was successful. :)
