pics...

still haven't had much time for posting - but i have taken pictures a few times recently, so i thought i'd put them up.

his new favorite thing is rolling on to his side. he still hasn't figured out how to complete the movement, which isn't surprising. it's much easier to roll from front to back, but he gets fairly fussy in a short amount of time on his stomach, so i haven't made him hang out that way much. consequently he hasn't had that much opportunity to reach that milestone. for now he is happy just rolling on to his side!

this morning after i took off his pajamas and changed his diaper i didn't bother putting his clothes on at first. instead i wrapped him in his quilt while he had breakfast. he just looked so cute all bundled up i had to get his picture.

something else cute he's been doing lately is trying to work with both his hands together - i think his eventual goal is to get both fists in his mouth at the same time.

he also seems to have inherited his mummy's habit of sticking his tongue out while concentrating. he was very intently studying my goofy antics while i tried to get him to react for the camera.









and now for the grand finale: his smurf jammies photo shoot!!! i can't remember whose these were initially (???) but they've gone thru more than a few babies. now it's calen's turn.

this last photo is my favorite: it seems like it should be from the end of the "session", but it was actually the first photo i took. his yawn seems to say, "enough pictures already, mommy!"
