A good time was had by all...

Happy Independence Day! I know, I know, I'm a day late (now two days late - blogger wasn't working). But as you will soon see we were much too busy on the actual day, so my wishes for a happy and healthy holiday will have to happen after the fact.

Believe it or not our little Calen bug is practically a year old, and we celebrated (a mite early) in style with cake, balloons, presents, and loads of fireworks. He had a blast, and didn't have a single meltdown in spite of very short naps that morning. He also enjoyed a mid-afternoon swim to cool off from the 90-plus temperatures.
