More strange things heard coming from my son's mouth....
"Eat my toes!!! (or ear, or thumb...) - this shouted at his Auntie Andrea
"Mommy, you're big and fat!" - while they were prepping me for my ultrasound
"Dear Jesus, thank you for hotdogs and samples" - at Costco :)
"Dear Jesus, thank you for lettuce and all the food we get shopping with our noisy car, and that we didn't get a cat yet, and that I didn't twist my ankle today" - in his crib before bed (that's a "Diary of a Worm" reference at the end there)
"Dear Jesus, thank you for Mommy, and Auntie, and...umm....Mommy and Calen and Daddy and all the comforts of home....and for big bear, and little bear, and papa bear...." (and Mommy said "amen" here because he can go on for quite a while)
"Mmm, mmm, mmm, three bags full.." - his variation on "Baa baa, black sheep", usually said when enjoying something particularly tasty
"No sanks..." - hey, at least he's using manners
"You makin' me crazy!!!" - randomly said in a semi-creepy gravelly voice (don't ask me where that came from)
"I wanna help you!!!" - anytime Daddy's power tools come out to play
"You wuv it???" - asked of anyone eating dinner with him
"Do you know what my name is?"
"Do you know what rain is?"
"Do you know what water is?"
"Do you know what a sea turtle is?" - this one gets a repeat about every 5-10 minutes. Apparently he has the memory span of a goldfish...
"Where'd are'd you, Auntie?!?!?!" - while running through the house looking for his Auntie. There's not a whole lot of places for her to hide, but he still manages to lose her quite regularly....
"What you doing?" - I get this question at times where what I'm doing is quite obvious - washing dishes, reading, going to the bathroom. That kind of thing.
"Mulberry bush!" - his identification of a picture of a stuffed octopus in his baby ABC book.
We were all laughing reading this. Your son is a goof! :)
