we (mark, calen, myself, and mark's parents) recently took a trip down to CA to see family and meet the newest addition to the family - little ariana teresa. of course we also wanted to introduce calen to everyone as well. most of mark's extended family is down there, with the exception of his grandparents, who are all nearby.
he (calen, not mark!) made everyone very happy by being a well behaved little guy on the drive - we only stopped twice to feed him on the way down (an 8 hr drive)! considering the fact that he still demands to eat about every 2 hrs i was pretty impressed.
he also got introduced to a pool for the first time, and obliged by "frog-kicking" as his papa held him. he seemed to enjoy it for a while, at least until he got a little chilled.
my very own "pool boy"... :)
